The Annual August Pontoon Boat Trip on Lake Tulloch will take place on Thursday, August 26, 2010. Dinner at Drifters Marina begains at 5:30 pm. Boarding on Merle Holman's pontoon boat takes place at the docks of Drifters Marina by 6:30 pm. Drifters Marina may be contacted by phone 785-8063. Order from the menu. CHARITY GOLF TOURNAMENT MONDAY OCTOBER 25
The fourth Monday in October is the date of the annual Charity Golf Tournament at Saddle Creek Resort. This event is jointly sponsored by Copperopolis Area Business Association, Copperopolis Parks & Recreation and Lake Tulloch Lions Club. Golfer entry fee is $95, which includes lunch, dinner and cart usage. Event begins with a bag lunch from the deli in Copper Village Mart & Shell Station at Copperopolis Town Square. Eat there, or take lunch to Saddle Creek Golf Course at Little John Road and Saddle Creek Drive. Saddle Creek dress code. Registration is expected by noon behind the pro shop. Dell Jackson Insurance is sponsoring the putting contest at 12:30 and the Shotgun Start is at 1:00 pm. Contests include Putting, 3 Closest to the Pin, Accurate/Longest Drive, Low Gross and a Casino Hole. Golfer Awards Dinner begins 5:30 pm. Reservations expected by Friday, October 1. Dinner only reservations at $35 each. Game sponsorships are available for $200. Tee Sign sonsorships are $75. Mulligans are available at 5 for $20.
