FEBRUARY 23

CABA will hold a Welcome Luncheon for members and friends interested in growing the business community.  The first CABA event of 2010, the luncheon is scheduled from noon - 1:30 pm Tuesday, Feb 23 at Black Creek Hall, 920 Black Creek Drive, just off Copper Cove Drive in Copperopolis.  Keynote speaker is Rosie Sundell, Bear Valley Mountain Resort marketing managert, who will present the resort's plans to become a year around attraction, and discuss how the Calaveras County businesses are expected to gain from the growth of this neighboring development.  The luncheon is free for CABA members adn $10for nonmembers.  Reservations are requested before noon on Feb 22.  Contact President Kyran Enzi at 785-8063.

AUGUST PONTOON BOAT TRIP

OCTOBER 18  

The third Monday in October is the date of each annual Charity Golf Tournament at Saddle Creek Resort.  Sponsored by Copperopolis Area Business Association, Copperopolis Parks & Recreation and Lake Tulloch Lions Club.  Event schedule from 2009 included lunch at 11 am at Union Mine Country Store.  Once again, registration is expected to be at noon on the practice range.  Sponsored by Dell Jackson Insurance, the putting contest begins at12:30 pm, then a 1:00 pm Shot Gun Start, Scramble best Ball Format, cash prizes for three Closest to the Pin Contests and Accurate & Longest Acurate Drive.  Test your skill with the Casino Hole and Double Your Bet.  Golfer Awards Dinner begins 5:30 pm. NOVEMBER 17

Annual Dinner Meeting, Election of Officers and Installation program.  Details to be announced.  For more information, call Kyran Enzi at 785-8063 or email kenzi@caltel.com. 

NOVEMBER 20

Annual Copperopolis Holiday Run from The Town Square.  Registration 8:00 am.  Run starts at 9:00 am.  Race details to be announced.  For more information or to participate as a volunteer coordinator, call Kyran Enzi at 785-8063 or email kenzi@caltel.com. 

DECEMBER 4

Continuing the new tradition partnering with Dream Scapes Entertainment for a day-long Christmas Extravaganza and parade, ending with the Annual Christmas Tree Lighting and Sing-A-Long at dusk in Copper Park next to the Copperopolis Elementary School.  Santa has gifts for the kids.  Cookies and hot chocolate provided.  Contact Dell Jackson at 785-9712 or dell@caltel.com to volunteer, offer donations, or ask about how to participate.
